I studied ceramics at university, not because I couldn't paint or draw but because I liked to construct. Even in my 2D pieces I feel the layers and depth of the surface or image I am making.  As a fibre artist I am fascinated by the properties of fibre and push at their perceived boundaries.

I create for the body, the mind and spaces. 

 

Attending life drawing sessions helps keep my eye trained.
